Poppies for Palestinian Liberation
Poppies for Palestinian Liberation
Poppies are a powerful symbol of Palestinians’ connection to their land and remembrance of blood spilled on their soil. For generations, poppies have continued to bloom amidst ongoing bombardment and destruction of ancestral lands, and when displaying the Palestinian flag was banned, the red, black, and green of the poppies was upheld as a symbol of resistance. Specific donation information will be updated below as circumstances change.
4/25/24 Current funds will go directly to bail funds in San Antonio and Austin Texas in support of students arrested while peacefully calling for their universities’ divestment in businesses that actively contribute to the deaths of more than 30,000 civilians in Gaza.
