Earthseed is inspired by Octavia Butler’s Parable of the Sower in which she writes “All that you touch you change, all that you change changes you, the only lasting truth is change, god is change.” Earthseed reminds us that we can grow in many directions at once, that we can remain rooted while we turn a new leaf, that it’s safe, essential, and beautiful to change.
